Responsibilities:
- Dispatch drivers and coordinate daily transportation activities - Utilize transportation management systems to track and monitor shipments - Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods - Analyze supply chain data to optimize routes and improve efficiency - Enter and maintain accurate data in the AS400 system - Monitor GPS tracking systems to track driver locations and provide updates to customers - Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure proper loading and unloading of freight Requirements:
- Previous experience as a dispatcher or in a similar role preferred - Knowledge of transportation management systems and AS400 - Familiarity with supply chain processes and freight operations - Strong data entry skills with attention to detail - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to analyze information and make informed decisions quickly - Proficient in using SyteLine or similar software for inventory management Note:
