00 HourlyDescriptionBe a Cashier for AAA Parking at the vibrant Margaritaville Resort in Lake Tahoe.
You can put some extra money in your pocket while meeting new people!As a Cashier, you will:
Efficiently process payment transactions accurately and promptly to prevent wait times and backups.
Assuring correct change is given and all transactions are accounted for accurately.
Hand out tickets (self-parking) Post tickets (Self-parking/ Valet)Answer the telephone from guestsRequest cars for guestsOperate a computer with a terminal or cash register depending on the location.
Daily Station Reports are required which may include the incorporation of reports from the parking management system.
Ensure that charges are posted to guests' rooms, track tickets & keys as well as answer requests for items retrieved from cars.
Keep the Valet area clean.
Offer information pertaining to services and facilities of the hotel, points of interest, and entertainment attractions.
May be asked to move a car or two!As a Cashier, you will be required to:
Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to take a proactive and strategic approach to deal with issues.
Successfully pass a background check.
Must be able to communicate, read and write basic English and perform basic Math.
Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 20 pounds, carry up to 10 pounds, and possess the mobility and dexterity to meet the demands of this position.
Flexible schedule based on the needs of the business.
Willing to adhere to all AAA Parking uniform and appearance standards.
Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, hotel staff, and co-workers.
The position participates in Tip Pool.
Tips are distributed daily.
