POSITION SUMMARY
Provide routine clerical support, answers phones, routes callers and relays messages. Manages all departmental documents and ensures availability of supplies and the maintenance of equipment. Coordinates communications within the department and functions as unit receptionist. Manages OR procedure schedule, ensuring changes are communicated to the appropriate individuals. Responsible for processing clinical supplies/equipment for specialty surgeries.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent education/experience

Minimum
Experience:
Minimum two years recent office experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
Knowledge of or experience with Medical Terminology preferred
Typing and computer literacy
Reading and writing skills, organizing and filing, professional phone etiquette.
Sufficient computer skills are required to complete an online application and the pre-employment annual required learning requirements.
In compliance with patient safety standards, must be able to effectively communicate in English; Bilingual abilities preferred

Physical Demands:
Prolonged, extensive or considerable standing, walking and sitting.
Exposure to stressful environments that may include communicating with difficult individuals in emotional situations.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
