BILLER- SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, FULL TIME
MEDICAL BILLING OFFICE EXP REQUIRED
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for billing all accounts Medicare receivables. Review and proof statements ensuring accuracy. Collections - Follows up on with patients billing and insurance claims ensuring account resolution. Review current CMS policies and billing procedures.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent education/experience
Minimum
Experience:
Knowledge of Fiscal Intermediary and billing requirements.
Minimum of two years recent experience in accounting related environment
Healthcare accounting experience preferred.
Typing and computer literacy
Reading and writing skills, organizing and filing, professional phone etiquette.
Sufficient computer skills are required to complete an online application and the pre-employment annual learning requirements.
In compliance with patient safety standards, must be able to effectively communicate in English; Bilingual abilities preferred
Physical Demands:
Prolonged, extensive or considerable standing, walking and sitting.
Exposure to stressful environments that may include communicating with difficult individuals in emotional situations.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
